See our new products at Eurobike!

GW is excited to head back to Eurobike where we will be displaying several new products including headsets and hubs.

We will be releasing a new line of headsets called the SIT3, FIT3 and FIT8. These feature a new design that has better water and dust resistance than our current headsets and allows for easy customization. All these headsets have extremely competitive prices.

GW will also be displaying three new hubs including two models including the T11 and TB11, which are perfect for road, trekking and e-trekking bikes. They use proven technology and designs to ensure consistent, reliable performance at an affordable price.

On show will be our new RCS star ratchet rear hub that is ideal for use on e-mountain, mountain and high-performance road bikes due to its ability to handle high torque loads. There are several features that allow it to outperform market-leading brands in testing and in use.

Stop by our booth at B5-407 to see these products and learn more about them. If you’d like to book a meeting, contact us using the form on the Contact Us page or email us at info@gw-mfg.com.

GW to show new products at Eurobike 2019

GW is extremely excited about the Eurobike show that will take place between September 4 and 7th in Friedrichshafen, Germany. This year we will have several new products on display, including a complete line of headsets with an innovative design and two very interesting hub lines.

We have taken our years of experience manufacturing headsets for leading brands in the bike industry and developed a new headset design that allows for lower top cover heights while increasing resistance to water entry.

In addition to our new headset, we will be launching an extremely cost-competitive hubset that will ship both from our factory in soon-to-open Spain and from our existing facility in Taiwan. We will also be debuting a ring drive hubset that uses round gears rather than a pawl and ratchet system. This system is robust enough for e-mountain bikes and light enough for road bikes.

We will have a full range of samples at the show so be sure to book your meeting with us so we can show you all the details. If you don’t already have a sales contact, please email us at info@gw-mfg.com or contact us via the form on the About page of this website.

Product Feature: Switch Thru Axle

GW continues to be a leading supplier of thru axles and the Switch compatible thru axle and levers are the most popular.

Like all our thru axles, Switch system axles are machined from ultra-strong 7075 alloy and tested to ensure they pass rigorous strength testing.

What’s unique about the Switch system is its removeable lever. A single lever can be fitted to a bike and used to tighten or loosen a front or rear thru axle. When not in use, the lever can be held securely and silently in the thru axle or can be stowed in a jersey pocket.

There are several lever shape options to choose from and levers can be equipped with additional features like valve core removers, bottle openers, or Torx or hex wrenches.

GW’s new MTB-specific hubset

GW has been hard at work on creating a new, mountain bike specific hub that is strong enough to handle the requirements of the most demanding riders.

The M-Max series of hubs is made up of the M17-3 and M17-5 hub shells built around an oversized 17x12mm axle. By increasing the diameter of the rear axle, we were able to significantly stiffen and strengthen the hub.

The M-Max hubs are equipped with a full set of high-quality cartridge bearings to ensure smooth spinning with minimal maintenance requirements. To make servicing easier, these hubs are equipped with end caps that can be removed without tools.

There is a lot more to know about these hubs, so to learn more, click here. If you don’t have log in credentials, please contact your sales representative or get in touch with us via this page.

GW Wins Government Award

GW Manufacturing is proud to promote diversity and inclusion in its workforce and was recently given an award for its efforts by the Taichung City government. The award, officially named “The Outstanding Performance Award for Agencies (institutions) performing well on employing the physically and mentally disabled in Taichung City in 2019” was given to GW in an award ceremony at City Hall earlier this year.

GW believes that diversity of experience leads to more points of view and creativity and this gives us an advantage to solving problems. In addition, upper management recognizes that all people, regardless of their abilities, can make a meaningful contribution and that small modifications to the office and factory layout and flexible human resources policies allow all people to reach their full potential.

If you’re interested in learning more about our policies or employment opportunities at GW Manufacturing you can contact us on the about section of this website.
